With the passing of United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Friday, many on the left appear to be in full panic. The announcement of Ginsburg’s death was not even an hour old before leftists started threatening violence and riots.
Former CNN host Reza Aslan threatened “If they even TRY to replace RBG we burn the entire fucking thing down.”

This reporter questioned how a blue-check Twitter user still had his blue check. As Twitter explains, “the blue verified badge on Twitter lets people know that an account of public interest is authentic.”
Explain the blue check for this guy. Seriously. Where’s the #tolerance, #acceptance, #inclusivity, #diversity, #equality, #compassion, and #love https://t.co/SfJHj877cf

California’s notorious Los Angeles Congresswoman Maxine Waters also weighed in:
“Justice Ginsburg’s dying wish was that her seat would not be filled until a new president is installed! Senate Democrats, do not back down. You have a tough fight ahead but our future is on the line! No SCOTUS appointment before the election!!!” Democrat Rep. Maxine Water exclaimed on Twitter.

Rep. Waters didn’t address that Republicans control the U.S. Senate and, White House and can nominate and confirm a new justice easily by Election Day November 3rd.
Senate Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) posted condolences for Ginsburg and issued a formal statement: “The Senate and the nation mourn the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the conclusion of her extraordinary American life.”

“Since the 1880s, no Senate has confirmed an opposite-party president’s Supreme Court nominee in a presidential election year,” McConnell said in his statement. “By contrast, Americans reelected our majority in 2016 and expanded it in 2018 because we pledged to work with President Trump and support his agenda, particularly his outstanding appointments to the federal judiciary. Once again, we will keep our promise. President Trump’s nominee will receive a vote on the floor of the United States Senate.”
Almost immediately, ActBlue.com posted #GetMitchorDieTrying on Twitter, and announced record-breaking contributions on a new website.
Republican Senator Ted Cruz said President Donald Trump needs to nominate a successor to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg next week, and that the Senate should confirm that choice or the country risks a constitutional crisis, PJ Media reported.
“I believe that the president should, next week, nominate a successor to the court. I think it is critical that the Senate takes up and confirms that successor before Election Day,” Senator Cruz told Sean Hannity on Fox News.
“Democrats and Joe Biden have made clear they intend to challenge this election. They intend to fight the legitimacy of the election. As you you know Hillary Clinton has told Joe Biden ‘under no circumstances should you concede, you should challenge this election.’ And we cannot have election day come and go with a 4-4 court.”
As for Maxine Waters, she received an earful from the Twittersphere:
Hilarious. The law doesn’t agree.

Is so called dying wish law binding and overrides Constitution?

Ginsberg herself was confirmed in just over a month, so I think we owe it to her to confirm her successor JUST as fast! 😉

Should’ve had a better candidate in ’16. #electionshaveconsequences
